Blessed Sacrament was founded in 1905 by the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Springs. Our private Catholic elementary school has been forming lifelong disciples of Christ who love the Truth, practice the Faith, and live virtuous lives. For over one hundred years we have been committed to excellence in Catholic education. Our small class sizes offer an individualized learning experience for children K-8th grade in our newly renovated facility. Our students are encouraged to get involved in our drama club, Spanish club, seasonal school sports, and more. We invite your family to take a tour of our school, meet the principal, and get involved in our school parish. Enrollment remains open, give us a call or visit our website for information!
My husband and I absolutely love that our kids attend Blessed Sacrament. Our children are excelling where previously they had been struggling academically. They receive the one on one attention that they need. All the staff members are patient, kind, and friendly. Blessed Sacrament isn't just a school...it is like a second family. I can't recommend this school enough.
We love the smaller classroom sizes at Blessed Sacrament, which allows for more individual attention. The staff is also great with communicating all things about our children's education to us. We made a great decision moving our kids to Blessed Sacrament!
We love our school! As a family outside of the Catholic faith, we always feel incredible welcomed by this community. The smaller class sizes are amazing and teachers, staff, and students truly know our children for their strength, challenges, and heart.
I was impress great people defenilety God's center🙏🙏
We were that family who saw no need to send our child to a private school. We changed our minds when our oldest was finishing up her junior year in public schools and our youngest was ready to sign up for kindergarten. Our oldest never quite felt safe in her school and there always seemed to be issues. We were sold on Blessed Sacramanet School the moment we saw with our own eyes the manners that each student displayed. We also loved knowing that each student had the ability to say God in the classroom without any criticism. After her first year at Blessed Sacrament School we knew there was no other option but to keep her there. It was the tight knit community that we fell in love with. We loved knowing that each parent there has the same values as we do and they are watching our daughter. The principal is phenomenal in being on top of things and Father Wilson has the ability to relate to the kids and has a fantastic business sense in how to keep things running and always thinking about the future. The teachers have been great! I love that they are not afraid to tell my child when she has misbehaved. In fact they are helping us to raise a respectful and honorable young lady. There is a commitment to sending your child to a private school but I truly believe it is worth it. While your child is young and impressionable, this is where you truly have a chance to teach the core values at home and have them reinforced at school. By the time your child graduates their 8th grade year from Blessed Sacrament, you will have all experienced something that you will never forget. You will have experienced God, family, love, community and faith in each other. No matter how tough things can get, you have an amazing community of people to back you up and help you to believe. You have nothing to lose by visiting Blessed Sacrament School; you have everything to gain.
Our son attended Blessed Sacrament School from 4th grade to 8th and is currently a freshman at Newark Catholic High School. Our experience with the educators, the administration, the staff and volunteers at Blessed Sacrament has been nothing but positive. We enrolled our son at Blessed Sacrament School with the hope that he would receive a sound, well rounded, Catholic education and that is exactly what was provided. Tom & Valerie Koch
The single most important gift we can give our children is the gift of our faith. For that reason alone, our children attend Blessed Sacrament School. All else was secondary when I first spoke to my husband about making this move. Our oldest daughter was then in 6th grade and was devastated when she had to switch to a school where they "wear those dumb uniforms everyday". We didn't know where the funds were going to come from when we took this leap of faith for our family. What we did know was that when God is put first, He doesn't disappoint. That was nine years ago and our other three children are all now attending Blessed Sacrament School. It hasn't always been easy, but it has always being fulfilling. We have been blessed to have witness to God's grace directly as we have made this investment in our children and our Catholic faith. Nothing is perfect; we won't have that until we get to Heaven! However, rest assured that your children are in a safe, loving environment where they will learn their Faith throughout all aspects of their education.
Blessed Sacrament School is treasure in Newark, Ohio. It is an authentically Catholic school with a rich tradition of high quality learning and dedicated, caring staff and faculty. Father Wilson and Mrs. Packham lead a very capable and sincere group of teachers and staff who take their responsibilities seriously and the pride shows in each of them every day. Both of our daughters have attended there and they have benefited greatly in their scholastic education as well as their faith lives. This is a fun place to go to school and to develop one's faith, growing up among other committed children, families and supporting staff. It is also a school with several multi-generational families in attendance, which is a witness to the long lasting tradition of quality learning in a safe environment at Blessed Sacrament School. My wife and I could not be happier with our choice to send our girls to BSS and I recommend it often to prospective parents and students. Please consider the Blessed Sacrament School community high on your list when making your choice!
We appreciate you contacting us. One of our colleagues will get back in touch with you soon!

Blessed Sacrament School is a great asset to our community providing an enriching, well-rounded learning environment for our child. The teachers, administrators, and staff care about the success and development of their students. I'm proud to be a part of this school and excited to see their continued developments.
